The test pit dig is now completed and the turf replaced. The conclusion from the dig is that a considerable amount of material had been brought in to provide a foundation layer for something – probably the road as there was no evidence of building demolition.

Thank you to Holy Rosary School for inviting us in, we have enjoyed it. We are now looking forward to the next school dig in July.
