AiM’s second day at Holy Rosary School was very busy. It was years 6, 5 and Reception’s turn to sieve for finds and they found quite a lot. It was great that they showed so much interest and enthusiasm. Two of the children decided that they want to be archaeologists – which is always good.
The test pit today revealed further evidence of material having been ‘brought in’ as a foundation layer for either the road or the building.
Tomorrow is our last day so one more update to come.
